Clifton Little League Statement Regarding Covid-19/Coronavirus Outbreak

March 14, 2020

We know there are a lot of questions regarding our status for the upcoming Spring baseball season, given the coronavirus outbreak, so we want to give an update to the Clifton Little League family.

We have been in contact with the Clifton Board of Recreation Directors, Little League International, and BOE and following the direction of the Clifton Board of Health with regard to this unsettling and constantly changing COVID-19 virus also known as the Coronavirus.

As we all know, things are constantly changing, so the Clifton Little League Board of Directors is doing everything we can to be adaptable, flexible and prepared for our upcoming season, without putting our families, children, or staff in harm's way.

We will NOT be having player evaluations this coming Saturday, 3/21/2020.

We are still planning on having Opening Day on Saturday 4/18/2020.

In between those 2 sentences there is a lot to be done! We will be in contact with coaches regarding team selection and player draft.
